properties that have previously suffered from subsidence. The Bureau's
scheme is
known as PUPS… which stands for Previously Underpinned
Properties and regularly features in the national press. |

The scheme helps purchasers to buy properties, which have
suffered from past subsidence. After carrying out a survey (cost £146.88 including
VAT…. returnable if full terms insurance is not offered,
less a £25 Administration charge), the Bureau will be able to
offer full cover in over 98% of cases. The Insurance is accepted by all major lenders.
